The Fort Mill High swim team swept another four-way meet Tuesday beating Northwestern, Blythewood and Riverwalk Academy.
Both the boys’ and girls’ teams won handily for the Jackets. The Fort Mill boys beat Riverwalk 137-7, Northwestern 113-52 and Blythewood 106-64. The girls’ team beat Riverwalk 140-3, Northwestern 139-31 and Blythewood 136-34.
Fort Mill won all six relay events. Individuals winning for the Jackets were:
Cadyn Henson – girls’ 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly
Owen Fey – boys’ 200-yard freestyle
Olivia Corbi – girls’ 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard freestyle
Ava Corbi – girls’ 50-yard freestyle
Max Reichert – boys’ 50-yard freestyle
Jack Dollyhigh – boys’ 100-yard butterfly
Jadyn Nelson – girls’ 500-yard freestyle
Celina Vu – girls’ 100-yard backstroke
Anna Kate Halligan – girls’ 100-yard breaststroke
Fort Mill will next participate in the Upstate Invite Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Fort Mill Aquatic Center.
Golf
The Fort Mill girls’ golf team beat Northwestern Wednesday 192-208 at Tega Cay Golf Club. Greycen Baker led with a 45. Her score was followed with a 47 from MacKenzie Finn and a 49 from Sam Benton. Cayla Cappuzzo finished the scoring for Fort Mill with a 51.
Nation Ford beat both South Pointe and Rock Hill in a three-way match Tuesday at Springfield Golf Club. The Falcons shot a 186 compared to a 232 from South Pointe and a 252 from Rock Hill. Vivian Harris led Nation Ford with a 41, followed by a 46 from Sara McCaskill and a 47 from Katie Griggs. Sarah Tran finished with a 52 for the Falcons as well.
