Boys high school wrestling

Youth wrestling season is starting soon for both the Fort Mill and Nation Ford wrestling programs.

The Fort Mill wrestling program is now holding registration and has scheduled a parent meeting for 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8 at the Fort Mill High wrestling room. Practices begin Monday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.

Coaches for the program will come from the Fort Mill High coaching staff, Fort Mill state champion wrestlers and state placers, and S.C. Youth Wrestling Association certified coaches. Youth weight classes are grouped according to age.

This is the 21st year that Fort mill wrestling is offering the program to Fort Mill youth. For more information, go to www.thewrestlingmill.net.

Nation Ford youth wrestling begins Tuesday, Nov. 9. Practices are at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday in the Nation Ford High wrestling room.  Registration is available at any practice and the cost is $50 per wrestler.
