Girls’ volleyball and tennis playoffs start this week.  

Nation Ford will open their 5A volleyball playoffs Wednesday, Oct. 18 at home against Byrnes in the first round, while Fort Mill will have to hit the road to travel to Hillcrest to open the playoffs.  

The Region 3-4A champs Catawba Ridge will have a first-round bye for their Thursday, Oct. 19 match and will play the winner of Aiken and Greenwood at home Tuesday, Oct. 24. Aiken is the defending 4A state champion.  

In tennis, Nation Ford will host Woodmont on Thursday, Oct. 19, while Fort Mill hits the road to play JL Mann in the first round.  

Catawba Ridge has a home match against Eastside on Thursday, Oct. 19 to open the 4A tennis playoffs.  

The brackets for the 5A boys’ volleyball tournament have been released with Nation Ford hitting the road to take on top seed Dorman and Fort Mill traveling to Mauldin to open the playoffs Monday, Oct. 23.  

The 4A brackets for boys’ volleyball has yet to be released.
