Fort Mill’s Olivia Corbi won two races to help lead the Jackets at the Upstate Invite meet Saturday.

The Fort Mill swim teams won the Upstate Invite Saturday at the Fort Mill Aquatics Center.

The Fort Mill girls scored 359 points while Nation Ford was second with 176 in the 13 team meet. The Fort Mill boys put up 330 points with the Falcons coming in second with 147 points.

Fort Mill won all six relay events and showed their strength in the meet by winning nine of 16 individual events. Those individuals winning for the Jackets were:

Olivia Corbi – girls 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle

Lila Hadley – girls 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke

Ava Corbi – girls 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke

Mia Pogorzelski – girls 100-yard freestyle

Jack Dollyhigh – boys 100-yard freestyle

Turner Wiand – boys 100-yard backstroke

Individuals winning for Nation Ford were:

Nicholas Martin – boys 200-yard freestyle

Belle Kolatis – girls 100-yard butterfly

Up next for Fort Mill is a meet at the Rock Hill Aquatics Center this Thursday, Sept. 14. Their next home meet is at the Fort Mill Fallout scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Fort Mill Aquatics Center against Nation Ford and Catawba Ridge.

Nation Ford next swims in Columbia against Blythewood and Clover in a tri-meet on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
