The Fort Mill swim team beat local rivals Nation Ford and Catawba Ridge in a closer than normal meet.
The Fort Mill girls’ swim team beat Nation Ford 94-76 and Catawba Ridge 136-34. Nation Ford girls beat Catawba Ridge 115-55. The Fort Mill boys’ swim team beat Nation Ford 107-63 and Catawba Ridge 144-26. Nation Ford boys beat Catawba Ridge 125-45.
Nation Ford and Fort Mill split the six relay events with Fort Mill winning the boys’ and girls’ 400-yard freestyle relay and the boys’ 200-yard medley relay. The Falcons won the girls’ 200-yard medley relay and both the 200-yard freestyle relay events.
Individual winners for Fort Mill were:
Turner Wiand – boys’ 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle
Lila Hadley – girls’ 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke
Dominic Impens – boys’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke
Adrian Paredes – boys’ 200-yard individual medley
Tyler Smith – boys’ 100-yard backstroke
Individual winners for Nation Ford were:
Avery Martin – girls’ 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle
Belle Kolatis – girls’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly
Gray Reiger – boys’ 100-yard butterfly
Gavin Charcalla – boys’ 500-yard freestyle
Individual winners for Catawba Ridge were:
Amelia Meehan – girls’ 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke

The Catawba Ridge boys’ volleyball team swept Fort Mill 3-0 Thursday winning 25-21, 25-21, 25-16. Catawba Ridge improved to 10-6 overall and 5-3 in Region 3-5A. Fort Mill dropped to 2-6 in the region and 4-11 overall.
The Catawba Ridge girls’ volleyball team beat Fort Mill 3-1 to improve to 5-2 in Region 3-5A and 9-6 overall. Catawba Ridge won 25-20, 23-25, 25-21, 25-15 to sweep the season series over Fort Mill. Fort Mill fell to 7-7 overall and 3-4 in the region.
The Nation Ford boys’ volleyball team beat Northwestern 3-1 to improve to 7-8 overall on the season and 3-5 in Region 3-5A.
