Fort Mill swimmer Anna Kate Halligan swims a portion of the 200-yard medley relay during the Jackets opening swim meet of the season.

The Fort Mill swim team was dominate in the first ever high school swim meet held at the Fort Mill Aquatics Center as they beat both Rock Hill and Northwestern.

The girls’ swim team beat Rock Hill 140-23 and Northwestern 139-38. The boys’ swim team won just as handily beating Rock Hill 134-28 and Northwestern 121-49.

Fort Mill won all six relay events in the meet as well. Winning for Fort Mill in the tri-meet was:

Olivia Corbi – girls’ 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke

Jack Dollyhigh – boys’ 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle

Anna Kate Halligan – girls’ 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard butterfly

Kyndall Brown – girls’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle

Cesar Gavilan – boys’ 50-yard freestyle

Max Reichert – boys’ 100-yard butterfly

Drew Fey – boy’ 100-yard freestyle

Reese Channell – girls’ 500-yard freestyle

Jadyn Nelson – girls’ 100-yard breaststroke

Zachary Nelson – boys’ 100-yard breaststroke

The Jackets next scheduled swim meet currently is Sept. 10 at Clover.
