The Fort Mill girls golf team topped Nation Ford in a head-to-head dual match at Tega Cay Golf Club Monday.
Fort Mill won shooting a 196 compared to Nation Ford’s score of 226. Fort Mill was led by Mackenzie Finn who shot a 44. She was followed by Sam Benton with a 46 and Cayla Cappuzzo with a 52. Caroline Player finished out the round with a 54 for the Jackets.
Nation Ford was led by a 53 from Katie Griggs. Both Hadley Mark and Sydney Pounds shot a 57 and Campbell Reiking finished with a 59 for the Falcons.
Fort Mill plays Clover next week at Tega Cay, while Nation Ford will next face South Pointe at Waterford Golf Club on Thursday, Sept. 1.
