The Nation Ford Falcons tennis team came away from Catawba Ridge with a 6-0 win Monday.

Nation Ford only dropped 17 games in the match and didn’t lose a set as they improved to 7-2 on the season.

Leading the way for the Falcons was No. 1 George Lynch winning over the Copperheads’ Cale Guasino 6-1, 6-0. Nation Ford’s No. 2 Aryan Goel beat Catawba Ridge’s Waden Uter 6-2, 6-4 and No. 3 Zach Robinson for the Falcons topped the Copperheads’ Ishaan Singh 6-1, 6-1.

Nation Ford’s No. 4 Jaideep Tatineni beat the Copperheads’ Koen Tesimale 6-0, 6-1 and No. 5 Jacob Brancato for the Falcons win over Catawba Ridge’s Jacob Thompson 6-2, 6-3.

In the only doubles match, Nation Ford’s Owen McCullough and Davis Glasco beat Haddon Richardson and Trevor Steverson for Catawba Ridge by a score of 6-1, 6-1.
