The Nation Ford Falcons wrestling team opened their dual season with three straight wins.
The Falcons won all three matches in a quad dual on Wednesday, Dec. 3 against the Andrew Jackson Volunteers, the North Central Knights, and the Weddington Warriors in convincing fashion and even surprised first year head coach Brady Hensley some.
“I expected us to wrestle, compete and fight,” Hensley said. “Winning all three was a surprise. We take notes as coaches and there are some things we can work on.”
Nation Ford opened the quad-dual rolling through Andrew Jackson 83-0 getting wins by either forfeit or pinfall.
Camron Magyar won by tech fall at 175-pounds with a 19-2 score. Winning by pin for the Falcons was Timur Krauchanka (126), Zachary Nivens (150), Robert Saddler (157), and Salaymon Askarov (190).
