Fort Mill High School had seven athletes to commit to their respective colleges Thursday as part of the school’s National Signing Day ceremony.

Of those signing, four of them were baseball players in Eli Craddock, Nick Krise, Jaeger Pankowski and Mikey Terribile.

“Each year our guys continue to get better and people recognize our program is a good program,” said Fort Mill head baseball coach Travis Collier.

Craddock will be heading to St. Andrews University in North Carolina and is a three-year starter for the Fort Mill baseball team and a two-year varsity football player as well. Craddock helped to lead Fort Mill last season to the state championship series and played American Legion baseball with Fort Mill Post 43 over the summer.

Krise will be heading to Curry College in the Boston area to play baseball. He is a two-time letterman in baseball and has been in the Beta Club all four years at Fort Mill. He also plays at On Deck Baseball Academy outside of school.

Terribile is heading to Bob Jones University in Greenville to continue playing baseball. He moved to the area from Syracuse in 2020 and has been playing baseball for Fort Mill for three years. He was named the MVP his sophomore season.

Pankowski is a two year starter for Fort Mill and will be heading to Brevard College in North Carolina. He is a pitcher and a second baseman and was the winning pitcher in the District II title game this past year in helping to guide Fort Mill to an Upper State championship.

Others signees from Thursday included a swimmer, a soccer player and a football player.

Gannon Burt will be heading to the University of Florida to play football and be the Gators’ long snapper. He played football for four years and was also a linebacker and tight end for the Jackets. He is the No. 1 ranked long snapper in the county and recently returned from the Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii. He has been named as an All-American long snapper.

“He is such a great kid,” said Fort Mill head football coach Rob McNeely. “He is a great student. This kid and his family have put in the time away from here to do what he needed to do to get better.”

Anna Kate Halligan will be heading to the University of North Carolina-Asheville to swim. She is a five-time All-Region swimmer and a seven-time Region champion in individual events. She is also a two-time state champion in relay events and was captain of the 2022 girls swimming state championship team.

“It is a very strong female team and I know its where she wants to go,” said Cindy Van Buskirk, Fort Mill head swimming coach. “I have heard really good things about them. It is the perfect place for her to go.”

Adrian Garthaus will be playing soccer at Pfeiffer University. He has scored 33 goals and had 18 assists at the varsity level. He is an All-Region player and has been named the Region 3-5A player of the year.
