The Nation Ford Falcons golf team won their first dual match of the season beating the Rock Hill Bearcats 160-182 at Lancaster Golf Club Thursday evening.

Nation Ford was led by a 39 from Oliver Lapointe and was followed with a pair of 40s from Jake Macheski and Jake Schill. Trip Smith rounded out the scoring for Nation Ford with a 41.

The win was coming off a ninth-place finish for Nation Ford at the Rebel Invitational at River Falls Plantation Golf Course.

Nation Ford next has the Bengal Invitational on Monday, March 11 at the Columbia Country Club.

The Nation Ford boys’ lacrosse team beat Spring Valley 20-1 to improve to 3-3 overall and 3-0 in Region 3-5A.

The Nation Ford girls’ lacrosse team beat Spring Valley on the road 23-4 to improve to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in Region 3-5A.

The Nation Ford tennis team beat Blythewood 4-3 to improve to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in Region 3-5A.

The Fort Mill tennis team beat Rock Hill 5-1 to improve to 2-0 on the season both overall and in Region 3-5A. 

The Fort Mill girls’ lacrosse beat Clover 10-4 to improve to 3-0 in Region 3-5A and 4-2 on the season.

The Fort Mill boys’ lacrosse team lost to Clover 13-6 dropping them to 2-1 in Region 3-5A and 4-2 overall.

The Fort Mill boys’ soccer team beat South Pointe 7-0 to improve to 4-4-1 overall on the season.

 The Fort Mill girls’ soccer team tied with Hammond 1-1 and are now 1-4-2 on the season.
