The Fort Mill golf team finished third at the Magnolia Invitational on Tuesday, March 24.

The Fort Mill golf team finished third in the 2026 Magnolia Invitational at Beech Creek Golf Course.

Fort Mill shot a 620 in the two-day tournament held in Columbia on Monday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 24. River Bluff won the 28-team tournament with a 605 over the two days.

The Jackets were led by a 151 by Morgan Bayko, who finished ninth overall. Tyson Shouse shot a 155 and was 19th and both Nick Harper and Noah Jones each shot a 157 for a tie for 28th.

Nation Ford finished fifth in the tournament with a two-day total of 632. They were led by a 146 from Connor Mills, which allowed him to finish second. Carter Smith was seventh with a 150 and James Wachtel finished with a 166. Jacob Brancato finished out the scoring for Nation Ford with a 170.

Back in Fort Mill on Wednesday, March 25, Catawba Ridge golf team beat Northwestern in a head-to-head match-up at Fort Mill Golf Club shooting a 156. Northwestern finished with a 174. The Copperheads were led by an even par 36 from Roman Vasicko and a 38 from Carter Mitten. Muller Otto shot a 40 for the Copperheads and Niam Sethi finished with a 42 for Catawba Ridge as well.

The Fort Mill girls’ lacrosse team beat Clover on the road 17-7 to improve to 4-3 overall and 3-0 in Region 3-5A.

The Fort Mill softball team lost to Providence Day 4-1 on the road to drop to 6-7 overall on the season.

The Fort Mill baseball team beat Rock Hill in game two of their season series to even the series at one game apiece. Fort Mill is now 4-7 overall on the season and 3-4 in Region 3-5A play. They were led by Braden Richardson, who went 4-5 with two RBIs and Gape Sipe, who went 3-4 with three RBIs.

The Nation Ford baseball team fell to Indian Land 5-0 dropping them to 2-3 in Region 3-5A and 8-4 overall on the season.

The Catawba Ridge baseball team beat York in a non-region game at Winthrop University 10-3 to improve to 10-2 overall on the season. The Copperheads scattered 10 hits and were led by Quinn Clouden who went 3-3 with three RBIs.

Late Tuesday, the Fort Mill girls’ soccer team beat Providence Day on the road 2-1 and are now 6-3 overall on the season.
