Both Fort Mill and Nation Ford finished second and third in a four-way match at Springfield Golf Club.

The Indian Land Warriors led winning with a 156 as Mason Kucia shot an even par 36 and was medalist for the event.

Fort Mill shot a 159 and was led by Baker Tolentino with a one over par 37. He was followed by Brody Blackwell with a 40. Both Wilson Holmes and Grayson Sipe finished the scoring for Fort Mill with a pair of 41s.

Nation Ford shot a 162 and was led by Carter Smith with a two over par 38. Harrison LaPointe was behind him with a 39 and Justin Wosje shot a 42. The Falcons finished their scoring with a 43 from Tyler Kemmerlin.

Clover was the fourth team in the match and shot a team total 168.

The Nation Ford boys’ tennis team beat the Northwestern Trojans 6-0 to improve to 8-0 in Region 3-5A. Each player for the Falcons won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Winning for Nation Ford was Colt Mohler, Davis Glasco, Owen McCullough, Zach Robinson, Jacob Brancato, and in doubles Jaideep Tatineni and Shanmith Kamireddy.

The Nation Ford boys’ lacrosse team lost 15-6 to Charlotte Country Day and is now 9-6 overall on the season.

The Catawba Ridge baseball team beat Rock Hill in game one of their three game series 10-3. Sam Schwamb and Ethan Solnick each had two RBIs in the win for the Copperheads. Catawba Ridge improves to 8-5 in Region 3-5A and 11-7-1 overall.

The Fort Mill baseball team took game one 13-3 over Indian Land as they scattered 16 hits in the first of three games against the Warriors. The win put Fort Mill at 14-3 on the year and 10-3 in Region 3-5A. Andrew Craddock went 3-4 at the plate to lead Fort Mill.

The Nation Ford baseball team dropped to 6-7 in Region 3-5A and 9-9 overall on the season losing game one of their three game series against Clover by a 11-3 score. Ben Chuttey went 3-4 to lead the Falcons at the plate.

The Fort Mill boys’ tennis team improved to 9-1 on the season with a 6-0 win over Indian Land. Winning for Fort Mill was Jack Childs 6-2, 6-4; Arnav Meshram 6-1, 7-5; Patrick Wright 6-0, 6-0; Oliver Johnson 6-0, 6-1; Xander Pak 6-0, 6-0 and in doubles Lucas Coelho and Andrew Behrmann 6-0, 6-0.

The Nation Ford girls’ soccer team beat Gray Collegiate on the road by a 3-2 score. The Lady Falcons are now 15-2-1 on the season.
