Fort Mill’s Owen Ware runs the 1,600-meters during the Jackets meet at Catawba Ridge.

The Fort Mill boys’ and girls’ track team swept a four-way meet on the road at host Catawba Ridge.

Fort Mill boys scored 261 points and Catawba Ridge scored 169 points to finish third. Indian Land was second with 206 points and Westminster Catawba was fourth with 16 points. The Fort Mill girls scored 341 points and the Copperheads scored 147 points to finish second. The Indian Land girls were third with 104 points and Westminster Catawba was fourth with 10 points.

The Fort Mill boys and girls won the 4×100 and the boys won the 4×400, while Indian Land took the remaining relays.

The Fort Mill baseball team improved to 6-8 overall on the season and 5-5 in Region 3-5A with a 3-0 win in game two over the Northwestern Trojans. JT Leonhardt led with two hits and Sullivan Townley pitched a three-hitter for the win while walking four and striking out four.

The Catawba Ridge baseball team fell 2-1 to Indian Land to drop their second one-run game to the Warriors as they are now 10-5 overall and 5-3 in Region 3-5A.

The Nation Ford baseball team beat Rock Hill 11-3 to improve to 11-4 overall and 5-3 in Region 3-5A. Lawson Smith had three RBIs to lead the Falcons. Both Jacob Neff and Gray Kneidel each went 2-4 in the game for Nation Ford.

The Fort Mill girls’ lacrosse team beat Catawba Ridge 19-9 to improve to 7-3 overall and 5-0 in Region 3-5A. Catawba Ridge dropped to 3-8 overall and 2-3 in the region.

The Fort Mill boys’ lacrosse team improved to 11-2 overall and 6-0 in Region 3-5A with a 17-4 win over Catawba Ridge, who dropped to 3-9 overall and 1-4 in the region.

The Nation Ford girls’ lacrosse team beat Clover 9-6 to improve to 9-3 overall and 3-2 in Region 3-5A.

Late Tuesday, the Catawba Ridge boys’ soccer team beat Clover 3-2 to improve to 8-4 on the season and 5-1 overall.
