The Fort Mill boys and girls track program split their home meet with Rock Hill on Wednesday.

The Fort Mill girls led the way winning with 124.5 points to Rock Hill’s 106.5 points. The meet also included Indian Land and Andrew Jackson as Indian Land had 36 points and Andrew Jackson had nine.

Olivia Morton won the girls 800-meters in 2:43.27, edging out teammate Ava Rovenstine by 0.66 seconds.

Alivia Cleveland won the girls 1,600-meters in 5:10 and Kaylee Rovenstine won the girls 3,200-meters in 11:36. Fort Mill also won the girls 4×800 meter relay in 10:10.

In the girl’s field events, Marisa Jones on the high jump clearing 5 feet for the Lady Jackets and Mia Williams won both the long jump with a mark of 16 feet, 5.75 inches and the triple jump with a total of 33 feet, 11.75 inches.

Bella Grupp won the girls pole vault clearing 8 feet, 11.75 inches and Willa Clark won both the girls discus with a throw of 86 feet, 1 inch and the shot put with a throw of 32 feet, 9 inches.

The Rock Hill boys won the meet scoring 132 points with Fort Mill coming in a distant second at 80 points. Indian Land had 32 points and Andrew Jackson had 26 points.

Liam Eident won the boys 800-meters for Fort Mill in 2:06.78, just 0.22 seconds ahead of teammate Finn Leckrone. Eident also won the 1,600-meters in 4:37 in another close finish just 0.29 seconds ahead of teammate Tanner Long and 0.56 seconds ahead of Leckrone.

Isaac Campbell on the boys 3,200-meters in 9:59 and Fort Mill won the boys 4×800 meter relay in 8:42.

Joseph Duey won the boys javelin with a throw of 153 feet, 0.25 inches for the Jackets.
