Fort Mill’s Olivia Corbi swims the 200-yard freestyle in the Jackets meet Thursday.

Both Fort Mill and Catawba Ridge picked up wins in the pool Thursday evening at the Fort Mill Aquatics Center.

Fort Mill girls and boys swim teams each racked up wins against Catawba Ridge, Indian Land and York in a four-way meet, while Catawba Ridge also won against York and Indian Land.

The Fort Mill boys beat Indian Land 139-25, Catawba Ridge 120-50 and York 137-20. The Fort Mill girls won 139-31 over Catawba Ridge, 140-22 over York and 136-27 over Indian Land. Catawba Ridge boys beat York 128-29 and Indian Land 120-44. The Copperhead girls’ team won 118-38 over York and 88-70 over Indian Land.

Swimmers winning for Fort Mill in the meet were:

Olivia Corbi – girls’ 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle

Jack Dollyhigh – boys’ 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle

Kyndall Brown – girls’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle

Max Reichert – boys’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly

Ava Corbi – girls’ 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke

Anna Kate Halligan – girls’ 200-yard individual medley

Owen Fey – boys’ 100-yard backstroke

Cadyn Henson – girls’ 100-yard breaststroke

Winning for Catawba Ridge was:

Alexander Ritz – boys’ 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke

Jake Root – boys’ 200-yard individual medley

Fort Mill won all six relay events. The Jackets next swim at home Aug. 31 against Boiling Springs, Gaffney and South Pointe. Catawba Ridge is back in the pool Sept. 2 at the Clover YMCA against Clover and South Pointe.
