The Nation Ford Falcons swim team finished a swim meet started on Tuesday by sweeping three other teams.

Nation Ford beat rivals Catawba Ridge, along with Clover and Indian Land. Nation Ford boys beat Catawba Ridge 110-60, Clover 101-69 and Indian Land 126-42. The Catawba Ridge boys beat Indian Land 110-57, but fell to Clover 91-79.

The Nation Ford girls team beat Indian Land 123-46, Clover 109-61 and Catawba Ridge 123-47. The Catawba Ridge girls beat Indian Land 104-66, but fell to Clover 102-68.

The Falcons won four of the six relay events with Clover winning the other two. Individual winners for Nation Ford were:

Sydney Fink – girls’ 200-yard freestyle

Gavin Charcalla – boys’ 200-yard freestyle

Avery Martin – girls’ 200-yard individual medley

Emily Eaton – girls’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke

Gray Reiger – boys’ 500-yard freestyle

Sophia Bujoreanu – girls’ 100-yard backstroke

Individual winners for Catawba Ridge were:

Jake Root – boys’ 200-yard individual medley

Ethan Cutis – boys’ 100-yard butterfly

Alex Ritz – boys’ 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke

Tennis

The Catawba Ridge girls’ tennis team beat York Comprehensive High 6-0. The Copperheads dropped just three games the entire match. Winning for Catawba Ridge was Lilly Lesperance 6-0, 6-0; Katherine Koehl 6-1, 6-1; Mallary McCart 6-0,6-0; Ava King 6-0, 6-0; and Nala Uter 6-0, 6-0. In doubles, Sydney Biggers and Emerson Brooks won as well with scores of 6-0, 6-1.

Golf

The Nation Ford girls golf team beat both South Pointe and Northwestern in a tri-match. The Falcons shot a 187 and was led by Vivian Harris with a 41. Sara McCaskill shot a 47 and Katie Griggs shot a 48. Piper Sabina finished with a 51. Northwestern shot a 201 as a team and South Pointe shot a 218.
