The Catawba Ridge golf team easily won on their senior day with a victory at Fort Mill Golf Club over the South Pointe Stallions.

The Copperheads shot a 152 and South Pointe shot a 174. Catawba Ridge was led by Niam Sethi with an even par 36. He was followed with a 38 from Muller Otto and a pair of 39s from Carter Mitten and lone senior Bray Vining.

Catawba Ridge had their last home match of the season and will play one more head-to-head match against Northwestern on May 1 at Waterford Country Club. From there the Copperheads will play in the Region 3-5A tournament at Chester Golf Club on May 5 followed by the Fort Mill Championship at Tega Cay Golf Club on May 7.

The Nation Ford boys’ tennis team clinched the Region 3-5A title with a 6-0 win over Clover on the road. Nation Ford is now 11-2 overall and 11-0 in the region. Winning for the Falcons was Colt Mohler 6-0, 6-1; Davis Glasco 6-0, 6-0; Owen McCullough 6-0, 6-1; Zach Robinson 6-2, 6-3; Jacob Brancato 6-2, 6-1; and in doubles Shanmith Kamireddy and Jaideep Tatineni 6-4, 6-1.

The Fort Mill softball team beat Chester 11-2 in a non-region game to improve to 5-9 overall on the season.

The Fort Mill baseball team fell to Indian Land 2-1 in game two of their series to even the season at 1-1. The loss drops Fort Mill to 10-4 in Region 3-5A and 14-4 overall. Game three will be held at Indian Land on Friday, April 18.

The Catawba Ridge baseball team took the season series over Rock Hill winning game two 5-2. The win puts the Copperheads at 12-7-1 overall and 9-5 in Region 3-5A.

The Nation Ford baseball team fell to Clover 6-1 in game two of their series and are now 9-10 overall on the season. The Falcons are now 6-8 in Region 3-5A.
