The Catawba Ridge golf team won on their senior day beating the Rock Hill Bearcats at Fort Mill Golf Club.
Catawba Ridge shot a 162, with the Bearcats shooting a 182.
Both Hunter Warren and OT Mitchell shot a two over par 38 and tied for medalist in the match.
Drew White and Niam Sethi each shot a 43 for the Copperheads to finish out the scoring.
Catawba Ridge next hits the links in competition on Monday, April 8 against Indian Land in a Region 3-4A match up at Fort Mill Golf Club.

The Catawba Ridge baseball team won game one in their series against Lancaster 13-1 as the improved to 11-1 on the season and 6-1 in Region 3-4A. Jackson Mullen pitched a one-hitter as the Copperheads had 12 hits in the game. Mullen struck out seven and walked one and went 3-4 at the plate with two home runs and five RBIs. Zach McMahon went 3-3 at the plate with a home run and five RBIs.
The Fort Mill baseball team beat Spring Valley 2-1 in game one of their series as they improved to 8-2 on the season and 5-1 in Region 3-5A. Fort Mill scored the winning run on the top of the seventh inning. Jacob Patterson went 2-4 at the plate and Thomas Ealey went 2-3 with an RBI.
The Fort Mill softball team lost 18-7 to Clover to drop to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in Region 3-5A. Clover scored eight runs in the bottom of the sixth to bust the game open. Lexi Verastegui went 2-3 with two RBIs for the Jackets.
The Fort Mill girls’ lacrosse team beat Clover 14-2 to improve to 7-0 in Region 3-5A and 9-4 overall.
The Nation Ford girls’ lacrosse team beat Spring Valley 21-2 improving to 5-2 in Region 3-5A and 8-2 overall.
The Nation Ford boys’ lacrosse team improved to 7-1 in Region 3-5A and 8-4 overall with a 14-0 win over Spring Valley on the road.
The Nation Ford baseball team took game one of their series against Rock Hill with a 6-4 win. The win improved them to 5-7 overall and 2-5 in Region 3-5A. Simon Fernandez went 3-4 with three RBIs to lead the Falcons.
The Nation Ford golf team shot a 302 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational at Cobb’s Glen Country Club. Carter Smith led with a 73, followed by a 75 from Ben Wakefield and a pair of 76s from Justin Wosje and Harrison Lapointe.
