The Catawba Ridge Copperheads finished fifth in the 4A state golf tournament at the Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes in Hardeeville. 

Catawba Ridge shot 714 (364-350) in the two-day tournament as Pickens won the state title with a 656 overall. May River, the host school on their home course, shot a 679; followed by a 696 from AC Flora, which was third. Hilton Head was fourth with a 699. South Aiken came in sixth with a 719. 

The Copperheads improved their scores by 14 strokes on the second day of the tournament, after sitting in seventh overall after day one. 

Leading Catawba Ridge was Katherine Mann and Eileen Zeoli, who both shot a 163 over the tournament. Mann shot an 87 on day one and a 76 on the second day. Zeoli shot an 84 on the opening day and a 79 on day two. Reagan Lynch shot a 181 (92-89) and EllaRose Hill shot a 207 (101-106). 

On day one of the 5A state tournament, both Fort Mill and Nation Ford had individuals playing to represent the schools. Vivian Harris shot an 81(42-39) and is tied for 15th after the opening round. Fort Mill is represented by Mackenzie Finn, who shot an 85 (43-42) and is tied for 26th after her opening round. 

Dorman leads as a team after day one with a 315. The tournament is being played at Holly Tree Country Club in Simpsonville. 

Tennis

The Nation Ford Falcons tennis team fell 6-0 to JL Mann in the second round of the 5A playoffs. All five singles matches and the No. 2 doubles lost in straight sets. The Falcons finished the season with a 11-2 record. 

The Catawba Ridge Copperheads fell in the 4A state playoffs in the second round losing to South Aiken on the road 6-0. All six losses were in straight sets. The Copperheads finished the season with a 11-8 record. 

Volleyball

The Nation Ford volleyball team swept Woodmont 3-0 to advance to the third round of the playoffs and will be traveling to Dorman Thursday, who swept JL Mann in the second round Tuesday. Nation Ford won 25-12, 25-21, 25-15 to improve to 29-9-1 on the season.
