The Fort Mill swim team swept their rivals beating both Nation Ford and Catawba Ridge.
The meet at the Fort Mill Aquatics Center on Sept. 24 saw the girls’ team beat Nation Ford 117-53 and Catawba Ridge 113.5-56.5. The Fort Mill boys won 98-72 over Nation Ford and 111-59 over Catawba Ridge.
Nation Ford boys edged Catawba Ridge 86-84 and the Nation Ford girls beat the Copperheads 89-81.
Fort Mill won the girls’ 200-yard medley relay, while the Nation Ford boys won the 200-yard medley relay. Catawba Ridge girls won the 200-yard free relay and Nation Ford won the 200-yard free relay for the boys. Fort Mill girls and boys finished the meet out by winning the 400-yard free relay. Sept. 24 Roundup
The Fort Mill girls’ tennis team beat Boiling Springs 5-1 to improve to 9-1 overall and 5-1 in Region 2-5A. Winning for the Jackets was Abby NallaReddy 6-2, 6-1; Kendall McCarty 6-1, 2-6, 13-11; Avalon Stevens 6-0, 6-0; Siona Soman 6-2, 6-1; and Ellie Corbett and Evie Dyer 6-2, 6-0 in doubles.
The Nation Ford girls’ volleyball team beat South Pointe 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-11) to improve to 8-0 in Region 3-4A and 16-2 on the season.
The Fort Mill girls’ volleyball team won over Boiling Springs 3-2 (24-26, 22-25, 25-13, 26-24, 15-6) to improve to 11-4 overall and 4-1 in Region 2-5A.
The Fort Mill boys’ volleyball team lost 3-2 (27-25, 17-25, 24-26, 25-16, 13-15) to Boiling Springs to drop to 6-10 overall and 2-3 in Region 2-5A.
