The Fort Mill girls golf team won the annual Milltown Showdown Cup at Fort Mill Golf Club.
The Jackets shot a 327 as a team in the 18-hole tournament on Monday, Sept. 21. Catawba Ridge was second with a 331 and Nation Ford was third with a 407.
Fort Mill was led by a one-under par 71 from Addie Lupton, who was named medalist for the tournament. She was followed with an 80 from Claire Collins and an 84 from Lauren Venimo. Skylar Sartwell finished the scoring for the Jackets with a 92.
Catawba Ridge was led by a 79 from Brooke Mehlhouse and then a pair of 82s from Bella Troxler and Ella Gaither. Ella Rose Hill and Chaley Barron-Haggerty both finished with a round of 88 for the Copperheads.
Nation Ford was led by Piper Sabino with an 82. Campbell Reiking finished with a 94 and Carolyn Miller finished with a 105 for the Falcons. Brooke Parker shot a 126 for the Falcons to finish out the scoring.
Fort Mill and Catawba Ridge are scheduled to meet again on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
