
The Fort Mill boys’ tennis team finished the regular season with a 5-1 win over the Catawba Ridge Copperheads.
The Jackets were led by No. 2 singles Arnav Meshram, who won over Wayden Uter, 6-2, 4-6, 11-9.
At No. 3 singles Patrick Wright won for the Jackets 6-3, 6-3 over Charlie Gallagher.
In the No. 4 singles match, Fort Mill’s Oliver Johnston beat the Copperheads’ Koen Tesimale 6-0, 6-1.
Fort Mill’s Sawyer Bryan beat Catawba Ridge’s Christian Springer 6-1, 6-2.
In the only doubles match, the Jackets’ Lucas Coelho and Andrew Behrmann won 6-0, 6-0 over Ethan Cosmack and Andre Santana.
The Copperheads lone win came at No. 1 singles as Ishaan Singh won 1-6, 6-4, 10-4 over Fort Mill’s Jack Childs.
Fort Mill improved to 10-2 overall and the Copperheads finished the regular season at 7-7 overall.

The Nation Ford tennis team finished Region 3-5A play undefeated at 12-0 after beating Clover 6-0 for the second consecutive day. The Falcons are now 12-2 overall on the season. Winning for the Falcons were Colt Mohler 6-4, 6-0; Davis Glasco 6-0, 6-2; Owen McCullough 6-0, 6-0; Zach Robinson 6-4, 6-2; Jacob Brancato 6-2, 6-0; and in doubles Shanmith Kamireddy and Naren Arunprakesh 6-1, 6-0.
The Catawba Ridge baseball team beat Rock Hill 9-0 behind a complete game no-hitter from Quinn Clouden. Clouden pitched seven innings and didn’t allow a walk while striking out six. The Copperheads swept the series winning all three games and are now 13-7-1 overall and 10-5 in Region 3-5A.
The Catawba Ridge softball team improved to 21-0 overall and 10-0 in Region 3-5A with a 9-1 win over Nation Ford. The Falcons fell to 12-7 overall and 5-4 in the region.
The Nation Ford baseball team took game three over Clover in their series with a 5-4 win in 11 innings. The Falcons are now 10-10 overall and 7-8 in Region 3-5A.
The Nation Ford boys’ lacrosse team fell 15-14 to Myers Park to fall to 9-7 overall on the season.
The Nation Ford girls’ soccer team beat Catawba Ridge 2-1 to improve to 10-0 in Region 3-5A and 17-2-1 overall. Catawba Ridge dropped to 14-5 overall and 7-3 in the region.
