In the senior’s game, Post 43 held off a seventh inning rally by Rock Hill. Post 34 scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning on three hits, but Fort Mill was able to get out of the jam with bases loaded full of Rock Hill runners.

Fort Mill had some key hits at times as they went up 3-0 after two innings and never trailed. Patrick Matthews went 4-4 in the game and drove in a run, while Harrison Wilson went 3-4 with an RBI and Chase Dougherty went 2-3 with three RBI to lead Post 43. Trace White went 2-3 with an RBI as well.

In the bottom of the first, Fort Mill scored their first run with an RBI single from Wilson. Post 43 added two more runs in the second inning on a single by Matthews that scored Tyler Levy and a double by Kenan Bowman, who doubled in Matthews.

Rock Hill would pick up a run in the top of the third, but Fort Mill got that run back in the bottom of the inning as White would drive in Keith Feeley running for Dougherty. Rock Hill made it interesting in the fourth scoring two more runs. However, Post 43 kept pace with a sacrifice fly from Dougherty.

Fort Mill got some insurance runs in the sixth inning as Dougherty drove in both Matthews and Bowman.
