Fort Mill’s Olivia Corbi swims the 200-yard freestyle during the Jackets meet against Nation Ford and Blythewood Thursday.

Both the Fort Mill and Nation Ford swim teams opened the 2022 season Thursday at the Fort Mill Aquatic Center as the Jackets swept both the Falcons and Blythewood Bengals.

The Fort Mill boys beat Nation Ford 118-52 and Blythewood 119-51, while the Fort Mill girls beat Nation Ford 98-72 and Blythewood 136-34. Nation Ford split with Blythewood as the boys fell 91-79 and the girls won 131-39.

Fort Mill won five of the six relay events, with Nation Ford winning the girls’ 200-yard medley relay.

Individual winners for Fort Mill were:

Olivia Corbi – girls’ 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle

Anna Kate Halligan – girls’ 200-yard individual medley

Max Reichert – boys’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly

Jack Dollyhigh – boys’ 200-yard freestyle

Turner Wiand – boys’ 100-yard backstroke

Cadyn Henson – girls’ 100-yard breaststroke

Individuals winning for Nation Ford were:

Emily Eaton – girls’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle

Beckett Jones – boys’ 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke

Mackenzie Riga – girls’ 100-yard butterfly

Nicholas Martin – boys’ 500-yard freestyle

Sophia Bujoreanu – girls’ 100-yard backstroke
