
The Fort Mill American Legion Post 43, in partnership with Fort Mill High School, is hosting the 2025 American Legion Junior State Tournament starting today at Fort Mill High.
The tournament runs July 19 through 23 and will consist of eight Junior Legion teams, including host team Fort Mill Post 43. The other teams in the tournament are Socastee Post 178, Florence Post 1, North Augusta Post 71, Camden Post 17, Lexington Post 7, Blythewood Bombers, and Richland Post 215.
The tournament starts on July 19 with Camden and Lexington playing at 10 a.m. Blythewood and North Augusta play at 1 p.m. and then Richland and Florence play at 4 p.m. on day one of the tournament.
Socastee is the number one seed in the double-elimination tournament and will play host Fort Mill at 7 p.m. in the first round on Saturday, July 19. Socastee is 17-1 on the season, while Fort Mill comes in at 12-5.
Every team in the tournament, except Fort Mill, went 2-0 in the second round of the playoffs, to qualify for the tournament. Fort Mill lost to Richland 2-0, but are in because they are the host school.
All games are scheduled to be played at Fort Mill High School.
