Nation Ford’s Nicholas Martin was one of three Falcons swimmers to win two events at Thursday’s meet in Fort Mill.

The Nation Ford Falcons swept a four-way swim meet at the Fort Mill Aquatics Center Thursday night beating Catawba Ridge, Northwestern and York.

Nation Ford boys beat Northwestern 140-30, Catawba Ridge 111-59 and York 143-17. The Nation Ford girls beat Northwestern 139-31, Catawba Ridge 106-64 and York 147.5-15-5.

Catawba Ridge also came away with two wins for both the boys and girls teams. The Copperheads boys beat York 140-23 and Northwestern 107-63. The Catawba Ridge girls beat York 148-16 and Northwestern 121-49.

Nation Ford won four of the six relay events with Catawba Ridge winning the other two.

Individual winners for the Falcons were:

Nicholas Martin – boys 200-yard freestyle and 50-yard freestyle

Gray Reiger – boys 200-yard individual medley and 500-yard freestyle

Beckett Jones – boys 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard breaststroke

Sophia Bujoreanu – girls 200-yard individual medley

Riley Parker – girls 50-yard freestyle

Belle Kolatis – girls 100-yard butterfly

Brittany Fink – girls 100-yard freestyle

Avery Martin – girls 500-yard freestyle

Individual winners for Catawba Ridge were:

Jake Root – boys 100-yard freestyle

Amelia Meehan – girls 100-yard backstroke

Ethan Curtis – boys 100-yard backstroke

Up next for Catawba Ridge is a meet at Clover Sept. 5. The next meet for Nation Ford is Sept. 9 at the Upstate Invite at the Fort Mill Aquatics Center.
