COLUMBIA – The Fort Mill girls’ golf team won their division in the Cavalier Classic.
Fort Mill beat 10 teams including Catawba Ridge who finished second in the tournament held at Fort Jackson.
The Jackets shot a 327 as a team in the 18-hole tournament and was led by Addie Lupton, who shot a two under par to claim the medalist position for the tournament.
She was followed by an 80 from Claire Collins and an 85 from Lauren Venino. Skylar Sartwell finished the scoring for Fort Mill with a 92.
Catawba Ridge was eight shots back with a 335 leading to a second- place finish. They were led by Ella Rose Hill with an 82. Brooke Mehlhouse and Charley Barron-Haggarty each shot rounds of 83, while Bella Troxler finished the scoring with an 87.

The Fort Mill boys’ volleyball team beat Spartanburg 3-0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-10) to improve to 5-8 overall on the season and 1-1 in Region 2-5A.
The Fort Mill girls’ volleyball team beat Spartanburg 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-20) to improve to 8-4 overall and 1-1 in Region 2-5A.
The Nation Ford girls’ volleyball team beat York 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-18) to improve to 13-2 overall and 5-0 in Region 3-4A.
