The Fort Mill High School athletic department had eight more student athletes sign their letters of intent to play college sports before graduating.

Those signing in a ceremony on Wednesday, May 14 included basketball standouts Logan Parker and Nas Berry, lacrosse players Nicolette D’Alto, Gavin Gordon and Will Johnson, volleyball player Michael Lambert, football player Bo Blankenship, and dancer Alyssa Tanksley.

Parker played the last three seasons on the varsity basketball team and was a two-year captain. He was the team’s Offensive Player of the Year this season and named to both the All-State team and was named the Region 3-5A Player of the Year. He helped to lead the Jackets to region titles in the 2022-23 and 2024-25 seasons. He is going to play at North Greenville University.

Berry will be heading to Wingate University. He has been a part of the Fort Mill basketball team the past three seasons and averaged 14 points and five rebounds this past season in helping to get the Jackets to the Upper State finals. He is an All-Region and All State player.

“These were part of the last two I coached,” said Dwayne Hartsoe, Fort Mill High athletic director and former basketball coach. “It is always exciting to see kids play at the next level. I am excited for them. As an AD it is good to see them and every athlete get these opportunities.”

In lacrosse, D’Alto will also be heading to North Greenville. He was on the varsity lacrosse team for the past four seasons and won Upper State titles her junior and senior seasons. She made second team All-Region twice.

Gordon and Johnson will continue to play together at Columbia College. Gordon has been on varsity for three seasons playing offensive and defensive midfield. Johnson has been an offensive midfielder for the Jackets for four years. He moved to varsity midway through his sophomore season.

Blankenship will be headed to Averett University to play football. He was a three-year starter for Fort Mill as a linebacker and defensive end. He was named Defensive Lineman MVP for this past season.

Lambert will be heading to Roanoke College to play volleyball. He is a two-year letterman in the sport and was a member of the inaugural boys’ volleyball team. He played all six rotations this past season as a senior.

Tanksley will be heading to the College of Charleston to dance.  She has been a member of the varsity dance team for the past four seasons and has been named team MVP for the last three years. She is a two-time All-American in dance.
